Hey guys! So today, my brother Brady and I decided to make a really cool DIY cute bird see snack! This is so easy, and great for kids!

Disclamer: This is not edible. If you eat it, you'll be greeted with a nasty surprise.

All you will need will be:

1/4 cup boiling water

3/4 cup bird seed

1 envalope unflavored gelatin

Silicone Molds (we chose hearts)

You begin by mixing your gelatin together, and follow the directions on your box.

Next, take your 3/4 cup bird seed a mix that slowly together till you get a wet sand consistensy.

Scoop your mixture into the molds, making sure there is at least half of the mold empty.

Make a loop with your twine, and sit it in there, and bury the twine (except the loop) in the bird mix.

You can either leave this to set overnight, or put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. We chose the freezer option.

Carefully peel them out of their molds, and your done! These are really pretty hanging on bushes, trees, and even on fences. We had a great time with our bird seed! It made for some beautiful pictures, as well! If you'd like to see the video that goes along with this DIY, click here!.
