Transfer Wood Photo Art

Hi everyone! So around a year ago, I made a YouTube video entitled, "Transfer Glass Art" and it has lot of views. In fact, it is the most viewed video on my channel! So today, I decided I was going to REMAKE this project- and I was going to make it work. Lets get started!

All you will need will be....

A paint sponge

Plate

Damp Paper Towels

Scissors

A piece of wood- any size will work!

A photo printed on REGULAR printer paper!

The first step is to cut your photo out. Next, take your Photo Transfer Gel and apply a light coat to the front of the photo. You'll know its ready when you put the photo in the sublight and you can see it clearly, but on the surface, it is all white.

Slowly press the photo on the wood, and make sure there are NO air bubbles! Put this aside for at least 24 hours.

When you come back to your project, take a damp paper towel and press over the image. After a few minutes, the image should be visable. LIGHTLY, take your finger and make a small scrape on all sides of the image. As you can see on my camera, I scraped a little too hard. Over the scrapes, take your finger and smoothen the photo really hard till you get small spiral papers.

Finish this off with a varnish, and you're done!

See you guys next Saturday!

XoXo, Mackenzie
